ARABIC LANGUAGE

Dear parents,

This year, our Arabic curriculum will be busy. Our method of teaching will continue to be clear and well directed. Students have been working hard in relation to the reading and writing. In Arabic, we are continuing to practise sounding out the letters and tracing the Alphabet for their writing task. Next term, we will still work on more sounding out letters and making words using letters. Specifically Year 1 and 2 goals for Term 2 is to write using the lines, so more practise writing needs to be done at home. Year 1 have been counting and writing the numbers from 1 to 10. Students have been working on number lines, putting the numbers in the correct place and writing the missing numbers. Students are making great progress.
